We want you to love your Love Potion piece. If something isn’t right, here’s how returns and refunds work.
30-day returns
You can return an item within 30 days of delivery for a refund. To qualify, the piece must be unworn, undamaged, and in its original condition and packaging.
Condition of returns
The amount refunded depends on the condition of the item and its box when we receive it. If a piece shows signs of wear or damage, or its box or packaging is damaged, missing, or incomplete, we may issue a partial refund instead of a full one. We’ll let you know the amount before your refund is processed.
This does not apply to orders that arrive damaged, faulty, or incorrect — we’ll always make those right with a replacement or a full refund (see below).
How to start a return
Email support@lovepotion.ca with your order number and reason. We’ll reply with return instructions.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll process your refund to your original payment method through our payment provider (Stripe). It typically appears within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
Damaged, faulty, or wrong items
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery at support@lovepotion.ca and we’ll make it right with a replacement or full refund.
Return shipping
For a change of mind, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility. If the item was damaged or incorrect, we cover it.
Exchanges
Want a different piece? Return the original for a refund and place a new order, or email us and we’ll help.

Love Potion (“we,” “us,” “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to this policy.

Details you give us: name, email address, shipping address, phone (optional), and anything you send us by email.
Order information: the items you buy and your order history.
Payment information: your payment details are entered and processed securely by our payment provider (Stripe) — or by Klarna or Affirm if you choose them. We never see or store your full card number.
Automatic data: basic device and usage information (like browser type and pages visited) to keep the site working and improve it.
How we use it
To process and ship your orders and provide customer support.
To send order updates, and — only if you opt in — occasional marketing.
To protect against fraud and keep the site secure.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the store — such as our payment processor (Stripe), shipping carriers, email tools, and the advertising platforms described below — and only as needed to serve you, or where required by law.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar tools to keep the site functioning, remember what’s in your bag, and understand how the site is used. You can control cookies in your browser settings.
Advertising
We use the Meta Pixel on this site. It is a small piece of code from Meta — the company behind Facebook and Instagram — that records certain actions you take here, such as viewing the necklace, adding it to your cart, starting checkout, or completing an order. Those events are sent to Meta together with technical identifiers like your IP address, browser details, and cookie data.
We use this to measure whether our ads are working and to reach people more likely to be interested in what we make. Meta may also use the information for its own purposes, under its own data policy rather than this one.
You can opt out. Most browsers let you block third-party cookies, and privacy extensions or tracker blockers will stop the pixel loading entirely. You can also change how ads are targeted to you in your Meta account under Ads Preferences. Blocking any of this will not stop you browsing the site or placing an order.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or opt out of marketing, at any time. Just email support@lovepotion.ca.
Data retention & security
We keep your information only as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal obligations, and we use reasonable measures to protect it.
Children
Our store is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Orders
When you place an order, you’re making an offer to buy. We may accept, decline, or cancel an order — for example if an item is out of stock, priced incorrectly, or we suspect fraud. Payment is processed securely by our payment provider (Stripe).
Shipping
We ship as described in . Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Risk of loss passes to you once the order is handed to the carrier.
